The story of Strobe Lane Bowling
At ten on Fridays, Northgate Bowl killed the house lights and turned into a glowing club. The pins, the lanes and every white shoelace glowed under the black lights, and colored strobes chased the ball down the lane. The DJ took requests on napkins, and a strike set off a fog blast from the ceiling.
Northgate's fog machine was so strong on strikes that the lane next door had to pause and wait for the air to clear.
