How low can your wheels go?
Thursday theme night at the roller rink with limbo contests, glow necklaces, a pizza buffet and a pop music DJ.
The story · 2003
Thursday was limbo night at Glide Galaxy, and the line stretched halfway around the rink. Kids crouched lower and lower on rental skates while the DJ narrated like a sports announcer. Between rounds came the four-corners game, the speed skate and a pizza buffet that never quite stayed warm.
The Glide Galaxy limbo record stood at just under one foot, set by a fourth grader named Priya.
Six finishes
Roller Limbo Thursdays comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
