The story of Glimmer Stop Ear Piercing
Glimmer Stop sat between the pretzel stand and the escalator, and getting your ears pierced there was a public event. You picked birthstone studs from a spinning display, sat on a tall stool, and held your mom's hand while two employees counted to three. Click. Then came the lollipop, a bottle of cleaning solution and six weeks of turning your earrings.
Glimmer Stop employees pierced both ears at once so nobody could chicken out halfway, a policy every kid appreciated later.
