The story of Snow Day Sledding Hill
The automated phone call came at 6 AM, and by eight Bramble Hill was covered in kids. Plastic saucers spun in circles, inflatable snow tubes raced down the jump the big kids built, and one dad brought a vintage wooden sled like a museum piece. At noon everyone trudged home for cocoa and grilled cheese, then came right back.
Bramble Hill's snow tubes were patched with so much duct tape that some of them were mostly duct tape.
