The story of Dance Pad Showdown
Glow Stomp 3000 sat at the front of the arcade with flashing speakers and a metal pad lit up with glowing footprints and stars. Beginners flailed on easy mode while the regulars, who brought their own sweatbands, played on expert with their backs to the screen. Crowds gathered three deep. Every arcade had one kid who could do it while eating a slushie.

Glow Stomp's hardest song was nicknamed the Washing Machine because that's exactly what your legs looked like.
