The story of Prize Counter Pizza Den
At Slice and Score, the real game was the ticket stream. You fed the long folded ribbon into a grinding machine that printed a receipt for 842 tickets, then spent forty minutes at the glass counter choosing between a plastic spider ring, glow-in-the-dark fangs, and saving up for the remote control car that cost twenty thousand.
Nobody in town ever saved enough tickets for the giant remote control car, and it stayed on the top shelf all decade.
