The story of Saturday Car Wash Fundraiser
The Saturday Car Wash Fundraiser started with a poster board sign and a lot of optimism. Club kids waved at traffic, scrubbed minivans and argued about who held the hose. By noon, everyone was soaked, the buckets were mostly foam and the gas station manager was regretting everything. They raised forty dollars and celebrated with pizza.
Every car wash featured one kid who spent the whole day waving a sign at the curb and never touched a sponge.
