The story of Back Row of Bus 14
You earned the back row of Bus 14 by being in eighth grade or by being brave. Every pothole on Ridge Road launched the whole row toward the ceiling, and everyone screamed like it was a ride. The glass only slid down halfway, the green vinyl seats had tape scars, and the driver watched it all in a giant mirror.
Writing your initials in the fogged-up window was allowed, but drawing on the seat backs got you moved up front for a week.
