The story of Rotary Phone Slumber Party

The kitchen phone had a cord so long it reached the living room, and that made it the most important guest. Everyone took turns calling the radio request line and the time-and-temperature number. Someone brought a scary tape nobody finished. By 3 AM there was popcorn in every sleeping bag and one girl asleep sitting up.

Fun fact

The first person to fall asleep woke up with a cereal box crown taped to their head, by tradition.
