The story of Token Vault Arcade

The front door was an old bank vault painted chrome, and the change machine inside spat out brass tokens stamped with a keyhole. Vern, the owner, wore a coin belt like a championship title. Kids who topped the score on Moon Mower got their initials painted on the ceiling tile above it, forever, or until the roof leaked.

Fun fact

Vern claimed the vault door still locked, which is why nobody ever tried to stay past closing time.
